2. Service Description

HumanizeWriting provides AI-powered text rewriting tools designed to transform submitted content. Usage is generally measured through a word-based quota system tied to your account or subscription plan.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
All activity that occurs under your account.
Providing accurate and up-to-date registration information.
Promptly notifying us of unauthorized access or misuse.

4. Plans, Credits, and Usage Limits

We offer free and paid plans with different monthly quotas, request limits, and feature access. Bonus credits, subscription credits, and other purchased balances may be subject to different usage rules.

Unused subscription quota does not roll over unless we explicitly say otherwise. Bonus credits and separately purchased credits may remain available until consumed, subject to the product terms shown at purchase.

Unlimited Plan Notice

Plans marketed as unlimited may still include fair-use, speed, throughput, or queueing limits needed to protect service quality and platform stability.

5. Payments and Billing

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By submitting payment information, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method for applicable fees, taxes, renewals, and authorized upgrades.

Subscriptions renew automatically according to the selected billing cycle until canceled. We may update pricing with prior notice where required by law.

6. Refund Policy

Important Notice on Refunds

Used quota is non-refundable. Approved refunds apply only to the unused portion of an eligible purchase or subscription.

Processed words or credits already consumed.
Partial billing periods unless required by law.
Subscriptions canceled after the eligible refund window.

Refund requests should be submitted within the applicable purchase or renewal window shown on the checkout or subscription page. Refunds are issued through Stripe and can take several business days to appear.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Violate any applicable law or regulation.
Infringe the rights of others, including intellectual property rights.
Submit illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive content.
Bypass, exploit, or interfere with quotas, billing, or platform security.
Access the Service through unauthorized bots, scraping, or reverse engineering.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain rights to content you submit. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit that content only as needed to provide the Service.

The Service itself, including our software, branding, design, and non-user content, remains the property of HumanizeWriting or its licensors.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Where these Terms and the Privacy Policy both apply, they should be read together.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that any processed content will achieve a particular result with every detector, reviewer, or use case.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HumanizeWriting is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HumanizeWriting and its affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms, create risk for the platform, or if we are required to do so by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account or billing settings.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless a different governing law is required by applicable consumer protection law.
